Baked Apple Chips with Cinnamon

Why seniors love them: Naturally sweet, gently crispy, and easy to chew when sliced thin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple (such as Granny Smith or Fuji)

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Optional: a light drizzle of maple syrup or honey

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175 °C (≈350 °F).

  2. Thinly slice the apple.

  3. Lightly coat with cinnamon (and maple syrup if using).

  4. Arrange slices on a baking sheet and bake for 30–50 minutes until edges are crisp. Let cool.
